Weekend Wrap Up

Submitted applications for grad school, started volunteering at one of the local libraries, found the cutest clutch purse on sale, took myeslf out to dinner and spent most of Sunday catching up with my library books.

Friday Mornings...

Considering that tax season is over and there isn't too much going on at the office, it's been a pretty smooth week however I'm definitely looking forward to catching some rays at the beach this weekend, relaxing with old and dear friends and wishing I were sleeping in this little dream space. I'm always interested to peak inside my girlfriends makeup bags when we're together just to see what it is they're wearing. I LOVE makeup and I'm always curious as to what everyone else is wearing! My makeup routine includes: Laura Mercier brushes, Stay Don't Stray Eye Primer by Benefit,  Chanel and Bloom eye liners, Clinique High Impact mascara, High Beam, Dandelion Blush and Some Kind of Gorgeous Foundation by Benefit, eye shadows by Benefit, Bare Minerals and Bobbi Brown and bronzer by e.l.f.

Since it's starting to get warm here in the desert, I've been sporting messy side braids. They're quick, easy, beachy and in my opinion super gorgeous.

When it comes to the perfect fragrance, I think Benefit hits the spot. Unfortunately they no longer carry one of my all time favorite perfumes, B Spot! Get with it Benefit gals and bring it back! If anyone knows where you can still buy this please let me know!

Sunday Shopping

Visiting my brother in North Carolina and honestly the thing I'm looking forward to the most is shopping around for a house with a wrap-around porch!

Comfort Foods

When it came to girls night in movie nights during college, grilled cheese and tomato soup was pretty much what I resorted to every time. Something about it made me feel like I was at home cuddled up on the couch with my dogs, so it became an immediate comfort food while I was in school. So even though it's not exactly soup weather, I can't help but crave a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with tomato soup. So for dinner, I'm keeping it light and simple! What are some of your favorite comfort foods?!
