Kate on Madison

While in New York over the weekend there was no question when it came time to visit one of my favorite spots in the city, the Kate Spade Flagship on Madison Avenue. Over the years my list of must-see places centered on historical and cultural institutions. Where shopping hot spots like dear Kate Spade remained somewhere in the middle. This past trip was dedicated to bookshops I fell in love when I lived in the city two years ago, a few of my favorite designer shops and some places my sister was dying to take me too. With my brother getting married in a month, my sister and I couldn't help but play around with some fun and tempting pieces to gift them. I've already created a list of things to get them, now I just need to narrow it down.

Saturday Happy

If you would have asked me about Lush Products six months ago, I would have had no clue what you were talking about. My sister introduced the line to me by surprising me with top rated soaps, bath bombs and lotions for my birthday back in November. Four months later, hanging out at the Lush counter with my sister will become a visiting ritual when I come to see her. The best part, they have a spa!!! When I book my next flight, I'll be checking myself into an afternoon at the spa :) What's making you happy this week?

Librarian Glasses

As you all know I have a serious thing for tortoise and have since I was little. So it was a no-brainer that my top choice frames would be tortoise colored, over-sized and certainly a statement to my wardrobe. Move over old and hello to my new librarian approved specs. Have you already checked out the Palm Canyon Collection over at Warby Parker, if you haven't done so, head on over this instant and check out their fabulous shades!  The collection clearly screams my name and I can't wait to get my hands on these Preston sunglasses :)

Everlane Tees

Constantly on the lookout for the best basic tee, I think I finally found the right match for my style. I had first read about the Everlane brand in Verily Magazine. I was instantly hooked when I read 'high quality, well designed wardrobe basics at affordable prices." Michael Preysman, the founder of the company specializes in making the basics in everything from apparel (including cashmere sweaters to oxford button downs and silk blouses) to leather belts and the perfect weekend bag. See for yourself and head on over to your new favorite shop, Everlane :) When you see how great their prices are you know your cart will be full in no time!!!

Apartment Therapy

My source of therapy often comes when thumbing (or sliding) through homes and apartment whether through my favorite home decor magazines or online via sources like Pinterest or my many favorite home interior blogs. When I came across Apartment Therapy three years ago, I knew it would become an obsession. And now when I get into "Need Inspiration/Motivation" mode I immediately head over to Apartment Therapy and check out what's going on in the home and apartment tours. Last week I came across this gem of an apartment and am already writing down lists to remind me keep it Minimal, Fresh and Inviting. Looking for own source of inspiration, I invite you to Apartment Therapy.
