The work ethic in this country is certainly changing. You most likely work a job that two or three people do (which means you are in charge of at least three departments in your field), many jobs require/want a year or two of experience and higher degrees, you adopt the mentality of "yes, I can..." (you get the coffee, run work related errands for your co-worker and stay after hours) so by the time you get your dream job, you are more than likely to be exhausted (and thirty to thirty five years old) before you can be excited to do whatever it is you love. How do you stay inspired or keep motivated when it seems impossible to get to where you want to be? These are the people that inspire me, here are a few tips and quotes that keep me going.
"Amazing things happen when you're having fun doing something you love."
"One day you will have the power to make a difference, so use it well."
"The biggest risk is not taking any risks...In a world that's changing really quickly the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks."
