After an incredible performance of Mamma Mia at the Winter Garden Theater I hung out with the actors for a few minutes after the show. All in all a great Saturday evening, except for the part where out of nowhere a terrential rain soaked my new suede black heels. Fun fact, I'm kind of a musical junkie. A theater kid who mostly sang background, had bit acting roles and was an emsemble dancer, I was introduced to musicals at a very young age. I saw Footloose on Broadway when I was eight years old and had already been dancing since I was six, so the musical life was something I wanted to pursue growing up. However, growing up in Socal where stage acting is not as big a deal as it is New York and my parents not really wanting me in the acting world, I now appreciate the Musical world as a patron. But,hey - a girl can still dream, right?
