Short Stories

What is your favorite short story?
I guess the better question is does anyone read short stories anymore? I, for one love catching up on short stories from chic-lit short stories series like Girls Night Out and Girls Night In to mystery, classics and even fairy-tales. I work in the Children's Room at the library and I can't tell you how much the kids and I myself enjoy the shorts from The Grimm Brother's Fairy-tales. But when it comes to me I will never tire of Edgar Allan Poe's stories, every year I have to revisit a few of my favorites like The Facts In The Case of M. Valdemar, The Masque of the Red Death, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, but my absolute favorite  The Cask of Amontillado! When I should have been paying full attention to listening to my seventh grade teacher read The Raven, I was silently reading The Cask of Amontillado and every year since then I've continued to read this story, not to mention the other great stories by Edgar Allan Poe, I do have the sweet Barnes and Noble Illustrated Collector's Edition!
