Did I spend the summer of 2011 watching this movie on repeat, yes, yes I did. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite rom-coms.

A Day Off

 a day off includes tackling beasts like this incline.

 going polka dot crazy.

 getting lost in consignments shops and lusting

after sterling silver tea-pots.

 making time for a little shopping.

 storing new recipes like this cranberry,

pumpkin seed trail-mix, yum!

 finding new consignment shops filled with fur

and louis vutton luggage.

 spending the afternoon getting lost in art 

galleries and becoming a member.

quiet evenings include pasta dinners and a few 

classics. 

Weekend Wrap Up...

 a leopard dress is the only way to go, there is

nothing else.

 fall book clubs starting with one hilarious

ruth reichl. 

 lets get one thing straight, I am one kate 

spade addict.

 starting new shows like this hilarious showtime 

series staring toni collette.

 a little cocktail refresher and bruschetta. 

 new little desk accessories.

 need a little bit of polka dots in your life, me too.

say yes to forest green this season.

Maybe it's not cold enough to sit by a fire but I wouldn't mind getting comfy next to this fireplace. Grab a book, slide into your warm covers and enjoy a quiet, warm and uninterrupted evening.

Five Things To Know About Grace Kelly:

1. Despite being rejected from Bennington College and her father's rants against her wanting to pursue acting, she was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York in 1948.

2. During her acting days in New York she lived in the famed Barbizon Hotel for Women, where men weren't allowed to visit after 10 pm.

3. Her first job out of school was to play Bethel Merriday based on the novel (of the same name) written by Sinclair Lewis, which had been adapted into a television program. 

4. Before her marriage to the Prince of Monaco, Kelly dated other high profile men including the Shah of Iran and the Russian Fashion Designer Oleg Cassini. 

5. She went on to win an academy award for her portrayal as Georgie Elgin in The Country Girl and is ranked at number 13 in the AFI's top female stars in American Cinema.
