Fridays in the Park

Last Friday morning my sister and I woke up early to catch Jennifer Hudson for Good Morning America's summer concerts in the park. After a morning of dancing and singing along to our favorite songs we ended up spending most of the day strolling through Central Park. We walked for what felt like all day, we watched couples canoe around the pond, laughed at kids running until their faces were red and walked by a painting class. It was one of the best days in the city. Sundays are now reserved for picnicking in the park, reading a book, people watching and soaking in summer days in the city.
