When it comes to decorating the tree, I love keeping the tradition that family members gather round and decorate the tree together. From what I gather after knowing my mother's family was in the business of selling Christmas tree while growing up, it's obvious to me that my grandmother wanted no part of dealing with hauling the tree to the car or strapping it on to the vehicle. Her job years later would be helping my sister and I decorate our family tree. So the fact that I personally like to decorate the tree with ornaments made from my third grade class, funky, modern and earthy collectibles, a 1950's original Barbie ornament, the ornaments my parents made from their third class, ornaments collected from around the world and keeping the tradition alive of keeping a home made Christmas is something meaningful to me. Here a few things to hang on your tree, furry little critters, monogram letters and traditional looking snowflakes to compliment your collection.
