I Smell Snow

Everyone around me is complaining about the weather and as a native Southern California girl, after five years of living in negative temperatures, I embrace the winter season. I wrap myself in my favorite pink and chunky scarf, breathe in the chilly weather, filling my lungs with the satisfying feeling of cool fresh air. This lonely bench sits near the lake on campus and right outside my dorm. Walking outside and watching the snow dance across the dark moonlit sky and cover the campus grounds brings me immediate joy. I live for these little moments.
