Confession: I have always wanted to be able to pull off bright colored skinnies! But the truth is after going to college and gaining a few extra pounds it wasn't exactly flattering to strut in these babies considering I'm 5'3. However, after an act of God I decided I was going to shed the thirty pounds I needed too and promised myself that by my sister's college graduation I would have lost close to all thirty pounds! Well, maybe not all thirty, but in two months time I've managed to lose 22 pounds. With ten more pounds to go and summer fast approaching I will be able to walk around in confidence with a bright pair of skinny jeans. Now the important question, what color do I chose?!!!!!
I cannot for the life of me remember where I found this, maybe Pinterest?! Whatever the case, I've been dreaming for the past several weeks of this being my home!
Now and Then was by far my favorite childhood movie and is still a top ten favorite. Whenever my sister and I were off to the babysitters we were more than excited because that meant macaroni and cheese, popcorn, sleeping bags and a viewing of Hocus Pocus, A Goofy Movie or Now and Then (they were all recorded on the same VHS), which of course Now and Then was always the first pick! If you haven't seen this cult classic, well then head to the nearest library and check it out!!!
I guess the better question is does anyone read short stories anymore? Give me a classic like The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman or Flannery O'Connor, Lydia Davis, or romcom shorts like Girls Night In/Girls Night Out, as you can tell I love my collecitons of short stories. Every year I find myself reaching for Edgar Allen Poe -The Masque of the Red Death, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, but my absolute favorite The Cask of Amontillado!

I was accepted into my number one choice graduate school for the Masters of Library and Information Science Degree! As I was pulling my chair towards me, I actually fell out of my seat when I opened the mail this morning, everyone at the office understands why now. Hope everyone's Tuesday is a fabulous one!
