this week's favorites...





In winter, the change in temperature and strong winds cause the frozen surface of this lake in Siberia to crack forming strange shapes of turquoise ice, its breathtakingly beautiful and somewhere I'd like to see firsthand. Lake Baikal is one of the largest and deepest lakes on Earth and holds 1/5 of the world's freshwater.
