When I think back on the summers of my childhood, the most vivid memories were the three months I'd spent in Maine. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world to be able to live three thousand miles away from home and experience a real New England summer. Now that triple digits are upon us, all I can think about are those white sandy beaches and lighthouses for days. What was your favorite summer vacation?
